Thumbs Up Learning Centre
expects adherence to the following policies at all times by our
clients (parents/guardians/students). Infringement or violation
of any of these policies may, but also may not necessarily, at
the sole discretion of Thumbs Up Learning Centre, result in a
termination of business relationship between Thumbs Up Learning
Centre and client.
Any disagreement arising out of any of the services provided for
herein, pertaining to student or staff must be settled by
arbitration within the jurisdiction of Mississauga, Ontario. No
other means of recourse may be sought in the event of dispute,
and by entering into any arrangement or agreement with Thumbs Up
Learning Centre (www.thumbsuplearning.ca) you hereby waive your
rights to do so. You also must agree with this and all of the
foregoing and following terms and conditions to use any of the
services provided for herein.
We are not liable for any damages, be they real or imagined,
which occur to your person or property as a result or as a
perceived result of learning sessions, and you absolve Thumbs Up
Learning Centre
of same. We conduct reference and credential checks for all our
staff, however, any damages or liability issues must be taken up
directly with the staff on an individual basis separate in its
entirety from Thumbs Up Learning Centre and any of its
employees, directors, founders and associates as well as all of
the familial and other relations thereof. By entering into any
form of arrangement or agreement with
Thumbs Up Learning Centre,
you agree to absolve
Thumbs Up Learning Centre
for liability, actions or claims for any damages, in all areas
of law, including but not limited to criminal, tort, contract,
property and others.
Should a client fail to show up for a mutually agreed upon
appointment, client will still be liable for payment of the
scheduled time. It is the client's responsibility to pay tuition
fees in advance. If the payment is not received, sessions will
not begin for the client. Our fees are based on a monthly
tuition regardless of the number of classes attended.
Thumbs Up Learning Centre strives to associate itself with the
best staff possible. However, neither Thumbs Up Learning Centre
nor any individual tutor will be held accountable or responsible
for the academic success or lack thereof demonstrated by the
student / client. Although we will do everything in our power to
help improve grades and skill sets, we offer no guarantee
thereto.
Termination
of contract (by the client) requires four weeks notice prior to
cancellation. Immediate termination will result in forfeiting
remaining account credit. |
